We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God, and the supreme and final authority.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the prophetic and virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His vicarious death, bodily resurrection, and ascension.
We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all that truly repent of their sins and believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit to provide inner witness of salvation and an outer witness enabling a life of holiness and love of God and man.
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth who will receive the Church as His chosen bride and will institute new heavens and a new earth.
Why Christian EducationThe Mirriam-Webster dictionary defines partnership as “a relationship…involving close cooperation between parties…” Is it possible to navigate through a chaotic and volatile world with steadiness, a problem-solving mentality, and a love that reaches far beyond borders? Yes! We believe the primary responsibility of a child’s education belongs to the parents, and scripture makes it clear that children are a gift from God.
At Gateway Christian Schools we choose to partner with parents using the Bible, the source of all truth, to integrate a Christian Worldview into all aspects of education, making sure these gifts of God thrive in the world they have inherited. As believers in Christ, we recognize our days are unpredictable, and we accept the honor and the challenge of teaching the truth of God. We join with our students in learning that the presence of God always surrounds us, and the voice of God is always available, waiting to whisper into our lives.
God heads our partnership of Christian education, opening His arms to embrace parent, child, church and school to form a bond that helps everyone in the partnership grow. As administrators, staff, and faculty we assure that God’s word saturates each aspect of our school days. Together, we navigate the chaos and bring God’s providence into a world that asks, “What is truth?” Fortunately, through God’s grace and our partnership with parents, we have the answer.
