• Customer ID: Required field. The MD ID must be entered as "MD" followed by 11 digits, or the driver's license number must start with a letter followed by 12 numbers.
• Control ID: Optional field. Optional Control Identifier tying the transaction back to your business purpose for accessing the record. A string value up to 32 characters in length consisting of letters, numbers, spaces, or the following special characters: ‐.#@. Example: N14‐34543
• DPPA Reason: Required field. The DPPA Reason for this specific request.

Driver Record Search by Name and Date of Birth

Search for and retrieve a Maryland 36-month driver record using the driver’s name and date of birth as the search criterion.

• First Name: Required field. The first name or first initial of the driver.
• Initial: Optional field. The middle name or middle initial of the driver.
• Last Name: Required field. The last name of the driver.
• Suffix: Optional field.
• Birth Year: The year the driver was born.
• Birth Month: The month the driver was born.
• Birth Day: The day of month the driver was born.
• Zip Code: The zip code associated with the driver's address.

PBJ (Also referred to as Probation Before Judgment) A segregated record of traffic violations for which the court has granted probation before judgment for a specified period of time, unless other traffic violations occur; if other traffic violations occur the courts may revoke that probation and enter a conviction on the original charge. Administrative Per Se (APS) Record A segregated record of a record holder’s first offense of driving with an alcohol concentration of .08 or more under § 16-205.1 that is available only to certain users.
